It started with Ari
WordSprout began as a way to track Ari's words. When Ari reached about 1,000, the tracking stopped.
That experience shapes what we're building: a journal for the first-words chapter, with a useful record when you're ready to move on. You choose when that is. There is no word count you have to reach.
The story behind WordSproutPlanned for our 1.4.0 launch
We're preparing a one-time Family upgrade, so keeping this chapter won't come with a monthly renewal.

Clear about your data
An account is required for setup. Your selected family's journal syncs automatically through our cloud service. Once set up, your saved journal works offline while you're signed in; permitted changes sync when you're connected again.
Translation suggestions are processed on your device. WordSprout has no advertising.

No. That was Ari's story, not a limit. You can log as many words as you like, and decide for yourself when this chapter feels complete.
You can already export your vocabulary as CSV, or as a PDF report with the paid plan. In 1.4.0, a journal summary and an archive option will help you wrap up. Archiving will set the journal aside on this device without deleting its words; you can reopen it later.
No. You can keep a journal in one language or several. The free plan supports up to three languages, and the planned Family upgrade supports all the languages available in WordSprout.
Family sharing is part of the paid plan. Invite another parent or caregiver to contribute to the same family journal, with roles that control who can change what.
Public App Store and Google Play downloads are not available yet. Join the launch list and choose your platform to hear when they're ready.
Little words. Big discoveries.
We'll let you know when WordSprout is ready for your family.
